Elizabeth is a Clinical Trainee providing both Outpatient and School Linked Mental Health Services. Elizabeth graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science Education in 2012 and a Master of Education in Family and Consumer Science Education in 2017. Elizabeth gained professional experience as an educator while teaching in rural and urban school districts in North Dakota and Minnesota for five total years. Elizabeth’s passion for working with individuals and families led her to changing her career because she wanted to spend more time working with individuals and families to make lasting change within the family system. Elizabeth furthered her education and received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and now works therapeutically with individuals and families. Elizabeth is passionate about helping others heal and grow by developing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore past events and promote self-growth while working with her in the therapeutic process. Elizabeth utilizes strength-based approach drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, depending on what best fits the individual. Areas of interest include anxiety, learning difficulties, ADHD, depression, stress, relational difficulties, identify development, and grief.
