Kelsey Notaro is a National Certified Counselor who graduated with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Kelsey works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing issues of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, anger, low self-esteem, and relational difficulties. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to couples therapy, family therapy, and relational difficulties. Kelsey is also trained in using the DC:0-5 manual for diagnosing children birth to five years of age. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is an essential part of the process and makes a conscious effort to help clients feel valued and heard throughout the counseling process. Kelsey emphasizes an integrative therapy approach drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, family systems therapy and strength-based approaches. Kelsey considers it a privilege to work with her clients throughout the counseling journey and works from a place of compassion and transparency. Kelsey is currently receiving professional supervision as she works toward gaining licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
