Kelsey Ellingson is a National Certified Counselor who provides outpatient psychotherapy and school-linked mental health services. Before beginning her post-graduate education, Kelsey gained professional experience as a Youth Counselor at the Leo A. Hoffmann Center and as a CTSS Mental Health Practitioner at Counseling Services. Kelsey attained her Master of Mental Health Counseling degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato while providing therapy to college students at the MSU Counseling Center. Kelsey’s areas of interest include, but are not limited to, LGBTQIA+ populations, co-occurring disorders, identity development, and attachment. Kelsey places emphasis on building the therapeutic relationship to foster growth in the individuals and families she works with. Kelsey utilizes a holistic, integrative, and strengths-based approach, drawing from cognitive-behavioral and family-systems techniques. Kelsey is currently receiving professional supervision as she works toward gaining licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
