Jackie is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2016. Jackie has experience and training in addressing the unique needs of children, families, and adults. She was the 2016 recipient of the HRSA Behavioral Health Initiative Grant for child and adolescent mental health treatment and received certification in Managing and Adapting Practice in 2017, an evidence-based system of providing mental health care for children and their caregivers. Jackie is presently receiving training for certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma which utilizes the caregiving system of support. She has worked in outpatient, inpatient, and in-home settings with a diversity of populations, and has experience working with individuals with concerns related to chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, LGBT issues, traumatic stress, and those diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI). Jackie strives to engage in holistic and strengths-based practice that emphasizes the value of attachment and relationships.
